HISTORY
One of Denver’s oldest and most celebrated breweries, Great Divide started in 1994 near Coors’ Field. The Barrel Bar is their expansion into Denver’s hip RiNo neighborhood.

BEERS
Enjoy Great Divide’s full lineup of beers, along with many seasonal, barrel aged, and limited release offerings.

HISTORY
What’s a Spangalang anyway? Well, it’s an homage to the incredible neighborhood they reside in, Five Points. For those who don’t know, Five Points was once one of the great jazz centers of our country. Spangalang is the word for the bread and butter jazz cymbal rhythm.

SPACE
Located in the heart of Denver’s Five Points neighborhood, Spangalang focuses on the “neighborhood pub” feel. With no plans to package in cans or bottles, and little outside sales, you’ll enjoy beer you can’t really get anywhere else, with a welcoming, inviting vibe. Local art hangs on the walls, alongside old jazz records – a tribute to the vibrant cultural and historical identity of Five Points.

BEERS
Take a look at their beer portfolio and you’ll note that their offerings are a bit like jazz itself, with all sorts of influences and possibilities.

Avery moved into their self-proclaimed “dream brewery” just outside of Boulder in 2015. It’s an impressive facility with an impressive tap room and restaurant. Enjoy ample patio seating in fair weather, and plenty of seating both upstairs and down in the modern indoor areas.

BEERS
Avery has long been recognized for creating some of the most illustrious beers in the nation. Indulge in both classics like the Avery IPA, and more complex styles like The Reverend Belgian-style quadrupel.

HISTORY
Upslope believes there are two key things to enjoying life: beer and the great outdoors. Drawn not just to skiing, but to anything over the Rockies and under the sky, Après Everything (their slogan) makes Upslope a hand-held tribute to all who believe playing hard should end with a quality beer that goes down easy.

HISTORY
Started in 1997, Oskar Blues is one of Colorado’s first and favorite breweries. They began canning in 2002, which sparked the canning craze (instead of bottles). Canning helps keep beer fresher and is infinitely recyclable.

BEERS
OB has an expansive offering of both traditional and unique brews.

FLAGSHIP BEERS

  • Dale’s Pale Ale – American Strong Pale Ale with balanced flavors.
  • Pinner – Drinkable IPA with hoppy citrus notes up front and a malty toasty finish.
  • IPA – Juicy IPA with hand selected hops and notes of citrus. Yella Pils – Traditional Pilsner. Malty and refreshing.
  • Old Chub – Scottish strong ale (8% ABV) with semi-sweet flavors of cocoa and coffee.

HISTORY
Started in 1993, Lefthand is the oldest craft brewery in Longmont. Named after Chief Niwot (meaning left handed), a Southern Arapahoe chief whom wintered his tribe in the Boulder Valley area. Now the 44th largest craft brewery in the U.S.

FLAGSHIP BEERS

  • Black Jack Porter – Slightly malty and sweet with notes of dark chocolate, espresso and herbal hops.
  • Extrovert IPA – Assertive tropical hops balanced with complex malt. Big taste with a dry finish.
  • Introvert IPA – Balanced and drinkable session IPA with a low ABV (4.8%).
  • Milk Stout – Lefthand’s most renowned beer! Try it on nitro. Roasted malt and coffee flavors in a creamy sweet stout.
  • Polestar Pilsner – Zesty German-style pilsner. Malty flavor with a dry, crisp finish.
  • Sawtooth Ale – Balanced amber ale. Great session beer.
  • Travelin’ Light – Golden, crisp Kolsch with herbal hops.

HISTORY
Started by college buddies Ted Risk and Ryan Wibby (a VLB Berlin-certified brewmaster), Wibby opened in September 2015 and has quickly become a Boulder County favorite. They feature traditional German style lagers with an American craft twist.

BEERS
Unique in that they offer lagers only. Most breweries offer many ales and a couple (if any) lager options. Lagers use different kinds of yeast than ales, and take longer to make because of their additional cold conditioning that adds further clarity to the beer.

FLAGSHIP BEERS

  • Wibby IPL – lager version of the beloved IPA.
  • Moondoor Dunkel – dark lager that is supple and crisp.
  • Lightshine Helles – light, sweet finishing Bavarian-influenced lager.
